Shandong Guiyuan Advanced Ceramics Co., Ltd. (SICER) is a national high-tech enterprise reorganized from Shandong Institute of Ceramics Research & Design, founded in 1958, and has developed to be a major R&D, design and production base for high-tech ceramics, advanced daily-used ceramics and ceramic raw materials, which has significant influence on the development of inorganic non-metallic materials home and abroad.
SICER has become an important birthland of intellectual property rights, and its products have been widely used in paper-making, metallurgy, petrochemical, electric power and other industries.
In 2017, SICER built an advanced ceramic industrial park, equipped with powder granulator, oversize isostatic press, automatic furnace, CNC processing center and series of sophisticated equipments. The production lines for wear parts have been fully upgraded. Depending on the Shandong Industrial Design Center, SICER has taken an active part in joint research projects and deep study of the dewatering mechanism; by implementing problem-oriented research, SICER has been focused on the property study of alumina, oxide toughened alumina, zirconia, silicon carbide, silicon nitride and other materials to meet customer’s complicated requirements.

With above 80% technological achievements being enforced, SICER has become an important birthland of intellectual property rights, and its products have been widely used in pulp& paper, metallurgy, petrochemical, electric power and other industries.
For the paper-making industry, SICER’s wear-resistant ceramic products have been successfully equipped to hundreds of production lines of high-speed paper machine, with the trim width over 6.6 meters and working speed up to 1300 m/ min. Based on the domestic high-end market, SICER also strengthened the cooperation with VOITH, VALMET, KADANT and other international well-known enterprises, becoming one successful enterprise leading the development of China's papermaking equipments.
In addition, the ceramic cone developed by SICER has been formed more than 30 series with over 200 products. With the excellent quality against impact, abrasion and corrosion, these products sell well all over the world.
